The Context

SIPA is an annual international performing arts festival at the historic Benteng Vastenburg in Surakarta, uniting world-class performers and 10,000+ attendees under the theme "Voice Your Art, Express Your Culture".

I supported the pre-event campaign, digital media production, official web management, and live documentation.

Web Management & WordPress Publishing

The official portal (sipafestival.com) is the hub for artist announcements, venue directions, and press releases.

Pre-Event Visual Design

To build momentum for the 3-day showcase, SIPA ran community roadshows. I designed the official banner and digital collateral for Pre-Event 1 — harmonizing batik motifs with sponsor lockups, schedule details, and clear hierarchy across the Talkshow, Performing Arts, and Fashion Show segments.

Talent, Voice-Over & Reel Production

Beyond graphic design, I contributed directly to multimedia production:

  • On-camera talent for social media teasers targeting youth audiences.
  • Voice-over narration for promotional reels, event walkthroughs, and artist welcome teasers.
  • Micro-copywriting — adapting event highlights into punchy captions for Instagram and TikTok.

During the live days, the media team captured real-time stage performances and behind-the-scenes coordination on the ground.
